Calcium fluoride (CaF2) single crystals has a good mechanical strength, moisture resistance and good. When the wave band in the the range of 0.13 to 11.3um the high transmittance up to 95%, so it is a good window material. Under an atmosphere use of temperature below 600 ℃, and dried in vacuo at up to 800 ℃.
